Strategic Decision Support Systems


Description: Theoretical and practical aspects of collecting and interpreting strategic information and using the results in organizational decision making. Includes computerized and noncomputerized sources of external data, selection and reprocessing of internal data, alternative means of storage and retrieval, and effective use of information in dynamic strategic decision processes.

Academic prerequisites, requirements, or restrictions: Open to non-majors.

Technology requirements: Personal computer with at least a 486 or Pentium processor (or Macintosh equivalent), Internet access, and either Netscape 3.0 or higher or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.
