Management Information Systems MIS 552 Systems Analysis and Design
Description: The focus of this course is the analysis and design of information systems. Systems development life cycle methodologies will be presented; including planning, requirements specification, feasibility, alternative evaluation, analysis, and design. Acquisition, installation, maintenance, enhancement, and evolution of system components will be discussed. Additional topics include prototyping, case tools, embedded systems, TQM, testing, and special topics such as Y2K . An individual and/or team project will be required involving reports and walk-throughs.

None. Technology requirements:
A Pentium 100 MHz processor or better with at least 32 MB of RAM is highly recommended. Students also need access to the Internet and a Web browser for at least five hours per week.
